As soon as you joined our wedding planning the stress of it all really disappeared! You were so reliable and detail oriented it was so incredible. As soon as you joined us for the site visit I was totally at ease because we knew we were leaving our wedding in great care..and above all an amazing and kind person to be around!

Khatija was absolutely amazing! Even my parents, who are hard to please, loved her! She was incredibly responsive, to the point where she was providing my sister, who was her emergency contact the day off, hourly updates. Anything that went wrong the day – she was on top of it right away. She even made sure we had food at the wedding and surprised us with donuts when she found out about our major sweet tooth!
I couldn’t imagine handling that many vendors and the coordination nightmare it would have been without her – on top of that this was a covid-era wedding. She made sure to follow-up with each vendor, double check all the contracts, handled all payments for us (even providing us with payment receipts) and made sure our guests were following covid-protocols. During the day off, she was always there when you needed her. One of my bridesmaids lost her earring back and Khatija saw her looking and provided her a set of earring backs right away. Overall, I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an extremely organized, responsive, friendly and super nice wedding planner!

I loved how Khatija planned my proposal in the pandemic. She is very calm, composed and puts client’s priority in first place. She never pushed me to make any decision and always had variety of options to choose from between different vendors. She has thorough knowledge of the event management space and I would highly recommend her for event planning.

We had the pleasure to work with Khatija and her team for our wedding at The Arlington Estate on Nov 9. The team were very professional, helpful and on top of everything and worked seamlessly alongside our other vendors like Mango Studios and Royal Orchid Florist. Although we reached out to the team just 4 months before the wedding day, Khatija provided superior service and even recommended a great photographer for one of our smaller pre-wedding events. She assisted us and answered all of our questions promptly. Her team and her executed the day to perfection. They went above and beyond our expectations prior to and on the day of the wedding! Not only this, they also helped coordinate with me to completely surprise her by booking her as a makeup artist (my fiance is a makeup artist). She thought she was coming for a makeup appointment!

My wedding took place on August 23 2019 at Claireport Place. My husband and I are an interfaith couple, it was a Canadian and Afghan wedding. I had no idea where to start. Khatija planned my entire wedding as well as coordinated the day of. She was absolutely amazing! She took care of EVERYTHING! Not only did she keep everything under control but she also made sure I was feeling good throughout the entire process. Everyone was able to enjoy the wedding thanks to her! I cannot thank Khatija enough for giving me the wedding of my dreams! She is super organized and helped us stay within our budget with vendors. I wouldn’t have been able to have the wedding I had without her. I think it’s super important to have a day of coordinator. Everyone turns to the bride for questions but it shouldn’t have to be that way. Khatija thank you so so much for everything you did for us. You are exceptional.

We hired Dazzle & Dream Events about 8 months before our wedding day! To say that they were Godsend is an understatement. I cannot believe that I hired them midway through my wedding planning process and not at the beginning. Khatija and her team were super helpful, always available (literally responds within 15 minutes) and had amazing suggestions for vendor referrals. I texted her so much that she was one of the top three WhatsApp converstions during the whole process, which says a lot to me about her as a caring vendor and how invested she was in our wedding day! On the day of the wedding, we were blown away at how organized she was, how she escorted our older guests to their seats and how smoothly the itinerary and day flowed. It was exactly the type of vendor we wanted in our team & I’m so happy to have hired her. She is by far our most favourite vendor! She is nothing short of Godsend & please do yourself a favour and hire her right now! She works hard and is fantastic at what she does! You will not regret it!!!

My husband and I got married on September 20, 2019 and had the absolute delight and pleasure to work with Khatija from Dazzle and Dream events. We hired her a year before our big day as our month of wedding coordinator and day of executor and she assured us that everything would be perfect and it was.

Khatija was on top of EVERYTHING. She created an itinerary that was executed without a hitch. She worked well with all of our other vendors. When I had mini breakdowns, she was there to assure me that everything was going to be amazing. I do not have enough words to express our gratitude for Khatija and her professionalism all September long. She was on top of EVERYTHING. We have a ton of amazing photos as well because she was literally everywhere doing her thing.

We didn’t stress about anything the whole day and we give thanks to her and her amazing assistant Holly. Just thinking about our day is bringing me to (happy) tears. If you want a perfectly executed day, and pretty much a friend and confident during a pretty stressful time in your life- this is the company (and gal) to go to. Thank you so much Khatija. It was an absolute delight working with you.

We had our wedding at Malaparte in downtown Toronto with 150 guests in attendance. Originally our thought was to plan and execute the wedding ourselves. However, our venue highly recommended us to work with a day of event coordinator to ensure we have a stress free and memorable experience on our wedding day. We found Khatija just three months before our wedding and we are so glad we did! From the beginning, Khatija was very professional and organized. She was great at communicating frequently which really provided a piece of mind for us. We met up once before the wedding to go through the day of wedding details, and she provided many helpful tips that we did not think of ourselves. She also helped us coordinate our rehearsal which we found to be critical for the bridal party and family to run through the logistics before the wedding. On the day of our wedding, Khatija and her partner set up our venue just the way we had provided the instructions. She also did a great job executing according to the schedule and coordinating with our bridal party and the event venue. Throughout the wedding, it was easy for us to have one point of contact if we have any questions. We were able to enjoy our company and the beautiful day in large part due to Khatija’s efforts. We are so happy that we met Khatija and had her help to oversee the execution of our dream wedding. We highly recommend to any other couples who wishes to thoroughly enjoy their wedding and to have a trusted partner to guide them throughout the process!

My name is Heyam and I had my wedding on July 15, 2018 at Markham Convention Center for roughly 200 people. To summarize how I feel about Khatija at Dazzle & Dream Event: God sent! I was always skeptical about wedding planners because my thought was “why can’t you just do it yourself?” My experience with Khatija, however, proved my thinking ignorant and gave me a new perspective. Khatija was just amazing!!! There were so many little and big ways she helped me be carefree and stress free on my big day. She always gave me updates on vendors and status of guest arrivals. She brought food when I was hungry and bandages for the cuts because of my darn heels. Whenever I asked her a question about a vendor her reply was always “Don’t worry, I have it under control.” Just like that my anxiety disappeared because I trusted her to make sure everything would run smoothly. It is really important to have a person who is the designated planner and coordinator. Khatija solved all the problems that I was having and made me feel calm, relaxed and gave me the luxury to just enjoy my wedding. I definitely would have felt differently if I did not have her there.

My parents and friends were quite pleased with her performance as well. We would definitely recommend her to family and friends.

When I first got engaged I was extremely anxious, I did not know where to start, how much things would cost, and what to even do. My co-workers told me to get a wedding planner, and one suggested Dazzle and Dream. I cannot explain how I felt after my first phone call with Khatija. She was really nice, she tried to get to know me which I appreciated and what I wanted. To be honest, I’m a super indecisive person. After meeting with Khatija, she turned the anxiety into happiness. She recommended awesome and trusted vendors, was very thorough with the entire process, and I started to envision my special day. She is super creative and solved any problems I had right away! The wedding was fantastic, exceeded my expectations, and I cannot thank her enough. To all Brides To Be, contact Khatija, she is absolutely wonderful and you will not be disappointed!!

Khatija helped organize our baby’s Aqeeqah which is a celebration of a baby’s birth. She helped us secure a venue, find a caterer, setup the event and then take it all down. She was always available via phone or text so we could tell her how we wanted the event to go. She took it upon herself to make herself available and ensure that our event was a success. She did all this even though we gave her short notice. For these reasons and others I would recommend her for your events.
